Kazakhstani tenge exchange rate
At our currency exchange office on Stawowa Street in Katowice, we offer competitive exchange rates for Kazakhstan's currency, the tenge.
On November 12, 1993, President Nursultan Nazarbayev signed a decree "On the Introduction of the National Currency in the Republic of Kazakhstan," and as a result, the national currency of the Independent Republic of Kazakhstan entered circulation on November 15, 1993. The national currency is the legal entity of the country. The introduction of its national currency played an important role in strengthening Kazakhstan's independence and independent development. The tenge became an integral symbol of financial independence. The National Bank initially valued 1 tenge at 1,000 rubles, but considering the country's political and social issues and international relations, 1 tenge was set at 500 rubles. On the day of the tenge's introduction, in the first round, 1 dollar was set at 4.75 tenge. On November 15, 2006, the new designs of the 200, 500, 1,000, 2,000, 5,000, and 10,000 tenge banknotes of the national currency were released. The design provides a modern image of Kazakhstan, depicting state symbols, architectural landmarks, and the country's natural landscapes. For convenience, the numerical and written denominations are printed in large font. It was decided to combine portraits of prominent Kazakh figures from various fields of culture, science, and politics with national ornamentation. The reverse side features architectural monuments. The design of this series is handcrafted in pencil, watercolor, and tempera. In May 2007, at a currency conference in Thailand, our 10,000 tenge banknote won first place in the "Best New Banknote" nomination.
